Ashes to Fire evening prayer:  “Give me yourself, O my God …. Behold I love you, and if my love is too weak a thing, grant me to love you more strongly.  I cannot measure my love to know how much it falls short …. But let my soul hasten to your embrace and never be turned away until it is hidden in the secret shelter of your presence.  Amen”  St. Augustine.

Summer Bible Studies – Thursday nights @ SCOT and Sunday mornings.  This past Sunday we heard two High School seniors share about the impact Teen Bible quizzing has had on their lives over the past four years.  Plan now to hear from God through His Word by participating in small groups this Summer!Summer Worship – A comment overheard:  “When I invest in regular Worship attendance I see positive spiritual growth taking place in my life.”  When I (Pastor Sheryl) heard this I began to think of people across the centuries who have seen the above principle/truth at work in their lives.   Amazing things happened during worship:  Isaiah heard the voice of the Lord asking:  “Whom should I send as a messenger?  Who will go for us?”  The church in Antioch heard the Holy Spirit say:  “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”   When Christ followers gather together to worship the Lord Jesus Christ, lives are forever changed!
